THE SHORT VERSION

What the three days are

The Adriatic Tech Summit runs on the same idea as the conferences its organisers have built since 2012: put the people who do the work in one building and give them time to talk.

Three days, four tracks, and a full day of tutorials before the session programme starts. The venue is also the hotel, five minutes from the airport, so the logistics come down to one flight.

THE PROGRAMME

What the four tracks cover

Every session sits in one of four tracks. Speakers and sessions are published as they are confirmed.

Artificial Intelligence

Agents that do real work, and the plumbing underneath them. Building with Copilot Studio and Microsoft Foundry, grounding on your own data, evaluating what comes back, and keeping the running cost visible.

Security and Compliance

The estate now contains agents as well as people. Agent identity, data protection across the agent lifecycle, the control plane that governs them, and the evidence an auditor will ask you for.

Modern Work

Microsoft 365 after Copilot. Where agents land in Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint, the state SharePoint has to be in before grounding works, and what all of it changes for the people running the tenant.

Development

.NET, TypeScript and the tooling around them, plus what shipping software looks like with coding agents in the loop: review, testing, and the parts of the codebase you still own.

THE CASE

Why it is worth the trip

Five reasons that hold up when your manager asks.

  1. The speakers still do the job

Microsoft Regional Directors, MVPs and consultants who spend the rest of the year inside other people's tenants. The schedule leaves room to catch them between sessions.

  2. A full day of tutorials

Day one is given over to full-day tutorials: one room, one topic, morning to evening. Long enough to get past the demo and into the parts that break.

  3. One flight, one building

Sessions, tutorials, the expo and the hotel rooms are all in the same place, with a preferred rate for attendees. Set against flying to a large conference in Western Europe, the whole trip is shorter and simpler.

  4. Bring the team

Groups of five or more get a discount, applied automatically at checkout. Split the tracks between you and you cover four rooms at once.

  5. The region in one room

The same problems repeat across the region: small teams, large estates, and budgets that are not American. The people who solved that this year are in the building.

WHERE IT HAPPENS

The venue is the hotel

Hotel Hills Sarajevo Congress and Thermal Spa Resort. You land, you check in, and you are already at the conference.

Getting there

About two kilometres from Sarajevo International Airport, roughly five minutes by car. The old town is fifteen to twenty minutes away.

Staying there

Rooms at the conference hotel at a preferred rate for attendees. The walk to the first talk of the morning is a lift ride.

The city

Sarajevo is small and walkable, and the evenings are where a good part of any conference happens. Give yourself the extra night.

WHO COMES

Who it is for

The tracks are built so a team can split up in the morning and compare notes at dinner.

Business and IT leaders

What the shift to agents does to budgets, headcount and risk, and which parts of it are ready for production this year.

Architects

Patterns for grounding, identity and data boundaries, and the failure modes people hit once an agent estate stops being a pilot.

Developers

Full-day tutorials and sessions on building, testing and shipping with coding agents in the loop.

Admins and operations

Tenant configuration, agent governance, monitoring, and the cleanup work that makes everything above it possible.
